Join us at The Recycle Challenge event, a multinational initiative that celebrates diversity and fosters an inclusive environment. Based in New Orleans, our organization respects and values individuals of all races, ethnicities, and backgrounds. Based in New Orleans, The Recycle Challenge reaches global partners in Nigeria, to the Congo. The organization offers hands-on experiences that fuse with cultural art with upcycling. Their crafting sessions foster creativity, teach collaboration, and leave participants with a sense of accomplishment.
Join us as a Sustainable VIP Attendee, Artist In Residence, or Community member. By the way, our event is a "free" Experience for those bringing recycled materials. We are raising awareness and funds for Literacy Project International and whose Magazine? A Youth Publication. Students' displays cover the impact of trash on neighborhoods of color and the benefits of recycling. The Recycle Challenge community health and nutritional kickback brings together various vendors, experts, and organizations to promote health and wellness through education, demonstrations, and interactive activities. At the kickback, attendees can learn about healthy eating habits, exercise routines, mental health resources, and overall well-being. Vendors may offer samples of nutritious foods, fitness demonstrations, health screenings, and information on various health-related products and services. The goal? Empower individuals to make informed choices about their mental alertness, and physical well-being while introducing new ideas around sustainability, upcycling recycling, and access to resources.

This is a wonderful laid-back community event that celebrates nature, local ingredients, and community engagement. The event will feature artists conducting plant dye workshops, open panel discussions, and Rites to Passage with culture bearers, elders, and the community sharing the stories of life. It's a great opportunity for student chefs to learn from a seasoned professional and engage in a unique culinary experience while celebrating a safe and family-centered vibe.
