About the event
With the support of St. Roch Market, we are creating a maker space for youth, artists, and the community, alike.
This workshop/class teaches the basics from creating a paper pattern to cutting patterns to assembling various wearable art costumes. The sessions work with a team effort with other community volunteers and you to collectively build costumes. We are working towards our event on April 21st - sponsored by JAMNOLA.
Join our Earth Day celebration that features a procession parade with queens from JAMNOLA, Sun Flower, Skate Queen, and others. Our princesses include Roses, Freedom, and Glass Half Full - which tells the story of each costume and the recycling journey.
